One More Pumpkin

This one is more Fall than Halloween.  My friend liked the Halloween pumpkins but thought she'd use this one longer.  The scarecrow and sentiment was cut with my Cricut using the Simply Scarecrow cartridge.  The basket and apples was from the Doodlecharms cartridge.

The paper used was from Recollections Night and Fall paper pack.  The pack was on clearance at Michael's and I picked it up for $6.99!!

I need to learn to block the clutter from the background when I take photos.  The scarecrow gets a little lost in front of the back clutter.

I need to make one of these for myself.  Isn't that the same ol' story with all us crafters?  We make for everyone else but ourselves?!  LOL

Pink October

I made this medallion for a coworker who has recently survived breast cancer.  Since October is the month designated for Breast Cancer Awareness, I thought it was a good time to give her this gift.

The medallion is about 8" diameter.  It uses three different pink papers that were scored every 1.5" and then folded accordion style.  Each three sheets were adhered together to form the base of the medallion.  I used my Creative Memories circle cutter for the circle bases and there's one scallopped circle that I cut using my cricut.  The HOPE banner was punched with my Stampin' Up! pennant punch (LOVE this punch).  The letters were just random black stickers - I love the variety of styles!

I hope she likes it!

Decorated Pumpkins Cricut Style

I love these pumpkins and decided to enter them in the current Decorate to Celebrate challenge and the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog.  Click on their names to go to their websites.

Cricut cartridge used:  Mini Monsters

These are the foam pumpkins purchased years ago at Michaels.  I decorated them with some artificial fall flowers/leaves and then put these cricut cutouts on some skewers and arranged them in the pumpkins.  These would make great Halloween centerpieces or decorations for an office.

And I'm Back!

Wow! Nothing like being sick to get you in a funk.  I've been feeling better for awhile now but still needed to take things slow until I decided in one week to participate in a Holiday Boo-tique...

It was a disappointing day as we only sold $29 worth of merchandise.  Other vendors didn't fare well either.  I'm telling you marketing/advertising is key to holding a craft boutique and this one was seriously lacking both.

Here are some photos:

My favorites are the decorated pumpkins!
